The First scene with Taylor Briggs. “I wanted to cut from the jungle to Taylor’s eyes. I think looking through eyes is a major motif of the film. I wanted it to be used when we meet most major characters.”

Born in Louisiana, Bennett Davlin began making films at five years old and completed his first novel when he was ten. He has directed and acted in various plays throughout his academic career.
He graduated from Tulane University with a degree in liberal arts. He then studied cinematography at The New York Film Academy.
For the past five years he has worked as a professional screenwriter, credited as lead writer on Jackie Chan`s action/comedy The Medallion, a Sony Pictures release.
Davlin directed a series of short films including TC3 which was accepted into various film festivals including The East Hampton, Woods Hole, Nantucket, Boston, and New York Film Festivals.
He first wrote Memory as a novel before adapting it into a screenplay with producing partner Anthony Badalucco.
